Armed With Wings is so beautiful to look at that it almost makes up for the fact we don’t properly understand it yet.

So we’ll start with what we know about Armed With Wings – it’s a side-scrolling beat ’em up where you play a Japanesey sort of warrior who runs around hitting people with sticks until they disintegrate into a puff of smoke. And it’s gorgeous – the animation is flowing and lovely and it’s a lot of fun. Then you press X and a bird comes out and flies around and we don’t really follow what happens after that because we die quite soon afterwards. You figure it out for us, how does that sound?
