A question we get asked asked a lot is "If God is an ultimately benevolent force, why is there so much evil in the world? How are we meant to believe in the goodness of a God who commanded the
Israelites to kill all the Canaanites?"
To which we say "Um, dunno. But look at this crazy costume that Eva Longoria is wearing." And lo, everyone is happy again.
But if we were God, we’d make a giant magnifying glass and set light to people with it from heaven. Just like in today’s Slackerjack, Ant City. There isn’t really a point to it. But it’s fun.
