Now, don't go confusing American History Lux with American History X, since American History Lux isn't a film about Edward Norton doing all kinds of gruesome Nazi stuff. It is a game about war, though.
American History Lux is a sort of historical strategy game, which sounds dull but actually involves the brutal murder of millions of your enemies, since American History Lux is a Risk-style game based around more or less every war that America has taken part in. Starting with the colonising of North America, American History Lux players can go on to smash the shit out of Vietnam, Korea, Iraq and - in the case of the American Civil War - themselves. We'd imagine that American History Lux gets a bit muddled towards the end, since it mainly involves rushing in to all sorts of countries, messing things up and staying there for much longer than they'd planned, but hey, it's American History Lux, what can you do? American History Lux is a truly immense game, but it's only really missing the forthcoming war between Mel Gibson and All The Jews.
