Russell Crowe Adds Another Baby To His Fightin’ Army

If you don't give Russell Crowe something to keep his mind occupied, he'll do terrible things like attack hotel workers with communications devices or - worse - start singing those horrible songs of his.

Thankfully, though, Russell Crowe and his wife have just had their second baby - Tennyson Spencer Crowe - which means that any assaults/songs will have to wait, since young Tennyson needs to be taught the correct way to lob a telephone at members of the service industry that don't immediately bend to his every whim.

Russell Crowe isn't the sort of guy that follows the crowd. When all of Hollywood suddenly decides to hop on the Scientology bus, Russell Crowe steadfastly declines. When all of Hollywood appears to shun smoking in case it alienates some of their potential audiences, Russell Crowe goes to a no-smoking zone and lights up. And when every single famous person in the world has a baby, Russell Crowe makes his wife hold it in for a couple of weeks until all the fuss has died down.

Of course, Russell Crowe becoming a father for the second time isn't too much of a surprise - Russell announced the pregnancy back in March. But last week, Russell Crowe and Danielle Spencer welcomed spiritually French baby Tennyson Spencer Crowe into the world. The facts, for those of you who are interested, are that Tennyson Spencer Crowe was born at 7:27 am on Friday in Sydney, weighing 8 lbs. Crowe's publicist Grant Vandenberg has helpfully added:

"Mother, father and baby are doing extremely well."

So well, in fact, that young Tennyson has already fractured the cheekbones of six midwives and then read out a self-penned, overlong poem about how brilliant he is. It brings a tear to the eye, doen't it?
