We recently sat down with Ron Weasley and that Irish bloke from Misfits, and chatted to them about their new film together, Cherrybomb. I say we, we couldn’t be bothered. Instead, we sent out our antiquated interviewer, Will Staeton, to do our hard work for us.
Rupert Grint and Robert Sheehan, as they prefer to be called, talk to us about mature roles, Titanic-themed restaurants and whether they prefer bourbons or custard creams. Watch as they look uncomfortable?during our jokes; gasp at how bored Robert gets during the interview; and guffaw at when we call Rupert ‘Ron’ by mistake. Honestly, it’s this kind of hardened journalism that has Paxman crying to his mummy every night.
Watch the interviews in glorious videovision, after the jump…
Cherrybomb is released Friday 23rd April

I’ll take this unfunny sarcasm for the anger you feel at the fact that you’re all terrible Journalists. Rupert AND Robert are lovely.

I’ll take your lack of sense of humour at the fact that you’re a terrible human being. Rupert AND Robert are lovely.

Ha!
Good interview!
Like the “black comedy” approach to the write up as well
made the vids more enjoyable.

Really cool interview. I love anything Rupert Grint! I thought the low key style of the interview was cool.

For goodness sake Rupert commit to a thought, everything isn’t “kind of…”!!
So grating to hear him speak (and such a shame as he comes as such a sweet bloke), literally makes me want to hit something it gets so annoying (EVERY sentence he says it at least once!!).
Thank goodness Robert is there with his soothing, beautiful voice and more intelligible vocabulary (if anything that’s probably why Rob looks so bored, I’ll bet Rupert doesn’t say “kind of..” so much to people he knows well, but having to sit in press junkets ALL day with him clearly suffering shyness around reporters et al must get tiresome after a while. I feel for Rob, bless him). *sigh*
