Artist 50 Cent from the multi-sponsored rap label G-Unit has landed himself in the midst of a dangerous situation this week.

A member of his never-ending entourage had opened fire at the WQHT radio station in Manhattan, reportedly injuring one man. 50 Cent was doing an on air interview at the time, promoting his new album, The Massacre.

The incident was said to have taken place after 50 Cent had leaked the news that he was dropping protégé lyricist The Game from the G-Unit clique.

The Game’s album released on Monday is set to be another moneymaker, so why is Fiddy sacking him from the crew? Maybe there just isn’t enough room for him on the tour bus? Or perhaps he was trying to infiltrate on one of 50’s shoe deals.

In other rap news, former prostitute Lil’ Kim (aka Kimberley Jones) is on trial for lying to a jury regarding the shooting of a man back in 2001.

The jury of the new trial has just been chosen and she will plead not guilty to the charge. A man was shot after Lil’ Kim and her entourage were leaving WQHT in New York, four years ago.

Hey, wait a second! Are we seeing a trend here? Rappers and their entourage’s choose their battle fields wisely, there must be something really special about the WQHT radio station, that makes you just want to bust a cap in someone’s ass! Metal detector account executives will be queuing up outside its door.

Like Ice Cube said “You better check yo-self, before you wreck yo-self”. Keep reading as we expose more radio station-inspired lunacy from the rap world.
