I think we can all agree that Rachel McAdams is an extremely likeable actress. In each of her movies (with the glaring exception of The Time Traveller’s Wife) the 33-year old Canadian is appealing and convincing, whether she’s playing a mean girl or a spunky reporter. Even?painfully schlocky The Notebook was tolerable purely because of her charm.
Having gotten?down on-screen with both Ryan Gosling and Channing Tatum, many, if not most,?women (and lots of men, too)?live vicariously through?Rachel McAdams’?movie roles.?Much of her appeal seems to stem from the fact that she’s extremely beautiful, but?in a way that isn’t terrifying, like?Gwyneth Paltrow,?for instance. She’s much more than the girl next door, but she'still?seems approachable and pleasant. She has dimples, for God’s sake. It’s not surprising, therefore,?given her seemingly effortless beauty and grace, that Rachel McAdams without makeup looks lovely.
In the first photo of the actress without makeup, she’s bundled up for winter and seems to be trying to keep a low profile. Despite?the knit cap pulled down low, it’s possible to see her eyes?which are stand-out gorgeous without any embellishment. Her complexion and bone structure are flawless. Cascading from the confines of her silly cap, her hair is shiny and bouncy, like a celebrity’s should be.
Why is no one helping her in the next?photo? Clearly, her hands are full and she needs some assistance, people! Her expression isn’t terribly flattering in this photo, but you can still see her beautiful features. Even with her hair pulled back, without a speck of makeup, and the start of a grimace on her face,?she still looks lovely.
