We know what you’re thinking, yet more trifling speculation and tired attention grabbing headlines.  Well, this time we actually have a source, and it’s Jimmy Bond’s boss Dame Judi Dench (Book/DVD) no less.

"Despite the fact that everyone on the face of the earth has been tested as his (Brosnan’s) possible replacement, he’ll be doing it again, and it’ll be announced come summer (05)." a chatty Dench announced proudly.

Bet she’ll be top of the producers’ Christmas card list.

This revelation comes complete with once-in-line Daniel Craig (DVD) further denying he’ll be donning the Saville Row Tux and patent leather shoes anytime soon.

“I wonder if I did Bond, whether or not directors would employ me because I did Bond, and that would be a big shame. And that’s as far as I thought about it, really.” he told a New York press junket this week.

We’ll not drag this article out or pad it with unnecessary jokes and Bond related trivia you already know or don’t really care about. You just want to know who the next 007 is, right?

And now you do. Almost officially. Almost.
