Pete Doherty All Like “Boo Hoo, I Miss Kate Moss”

Pete Doherty Kate Moss Take Me Back InterviewBeing dumped is one thing, but being dumped by the world's most famous supermodel is something else entirely – and being dumped by the world's most famous supermodel when you're a pan-faced trampy clagnut is, well, ask Pete Doherty.

Pete Doherty isn't going out with Kate Moss any more. But – woah there, ladies – don't start lining up outside Pete Doherty's house yet because Pete Doherty misses Kate Moss. He misses her to such an extent that he's done a high profile newspaper interview which is almost exclusively dedicated to pleading with Kate Moss to take him back. And Pete Doherty's seduction technique? Calling Kate Moss nasty, violent and jealous. See boys, that's how you bag yourselves a supermodel.

Star-crossed lovers – or is that cross-eyed lovers – Pete Doherty and Kate Moss are sort of fated to be together, don't you think? They've split up more than a jillion times in the past, only to blunder back together like a couple of magnetically-attracted simpletons after a matter of weeks to make all sorts of cack-brained YouTube videos. And guess what – we wouldn't be surprised if there's another Pete Doherty / Kate Moss reunion on the horizon.

Although Pete Doherty and Kate Moss almost got pregnant and sort of got married last year, that didn't stop Kate Moss from dumping Pete Doherty last month because Pete apparently had it off with another woman. But, with the chest-crushing inevitability that comes when a world-famous supermodel has thrown you out of her massive house and forced you to live in a caravan park, Pete Doherty wants Kate Moss back. In an exclusive interview, Pete Doherty told The Mirror:

"Kate has broken my heart. There's been this lockdown and I can't get hold of her. This is the only way I can get through. I need her to know that she's out of her fucking mind. Kate, if you love me then realise I don't want any other girl… Kate – a nasty old rag. We fell out for the same old reason. She accused me of fucking this girl who lives around the corner… I said 'You're out of your fucking mind'. I was really up for some peace and love that morning. I wasn't up for being called a cunt and being kicked in the head."

It's a shame that Pete Doherty wasn't up for being called a cunt because, well, he's Pete Doherty and that fact alone doesn't really leave people a lot of other options. Anyway, the weirdest thing here is that Pete Doherty's rambling pleas for Kate Moss to take him back seem to have worked.

It's been reported that Kate Moss, although determined never to take Pete Doherty back again, is at the limits of her resolve, even going as far as to drunkenly call Pete up in the middle of the night singing Moon River. But is a confused, semi-intelligible interview with a tabloid newspaper really all it takes to win back the affections of Kate Moss?

Remember this – last time Pete Doherty and Kate Moss got back together it was because Pete wrote five words on a car window. Be afraid people.

Hooray!

The Saga of the Shadow Puppets continues…

You see, it’s the inevitable attraction of ‘ghostiness’.
Both of these two score extremely high on ghositness
so it makes sense that they would go out.

But it’s not like they are really going out, no.
When they are apart, they haunt each other, so
they need to combine their forces to haunt us.

Imagine how much scarier they will be when they are actually dead!
Super-Ultra Ghosty, I imagine. Well, we’ll see when PD OD’s and
haunts the stick bug into her own tragicomic demise. Then they will
really haunt us. Mythologized into Sufferers for Their Art, and
canonized as Art Saints, they will haunt us forever as reminders of
the Price We Must Pay for fame, fortune and idiocy.
