It looks like the happy, tabloid-friendly relationship between Pete Doherty and Kate Moss has finally ended, and both Pete and Kate are handling the situations in their own special way.
Pete Doherty eased the pain by running to the first Sun reporter he could find, complaining to him, smashing a tiny guitar over his car and then getting arrested for apparently hiding crack in his pants. Kate Moss, however, is more demure. She gets over splits by screaming at photographs at the top of her voice in Cape Town hotels.
Yesterday we reported how ‘troubled’ Pete Doherty (CDs) had spoken to The
Sun about his split from Kate Moss and his failed time in rehab. Here’s
a typically confused excerpt:
"They made me
carry a teddy bear to show
I had lost my inner child. A light came down from the sky. It was like
a vision telling me to pull my finger out."
But
Kate Moss is too cool, too much of an icon to actually go and walk up to a
reporter to express her views. She’d rather just bellow her thoughts at
photographers instead.
Kate reportedly lost in a Cape Town hotel, where she was preparing
for a photoshoot. A group of photographers approached her to take
some snaps when she reportedly covered her face with her hands
and exploded:
"Go away! I’m so upset at you being here. I’m so upset!"
The
final word must go to witness – and our new hero – Vernon Coetzee, who
gave the most phenomenally bitchy quote of the century to The Afrikaans newspaper:
"We were impressed because
she had fitted in so nicely and everybody was having a good time. Then she started screaming. It was embarrassing, she looked so
old and
bitter."
