PETA, Like, Totally Hates The Olsen Twins

You know Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen, the young twins who you've barely ever thought about in your entire lives, especially recently?
Yeah, PETA bloody hates them. Although Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen are just living the sort of life that people of their youth and wealth are expected to - riding around in carriages made of knitted saffron, employing small Taiwanese children to cling onto the soles of their feet and act like super-chic screaming shoes, eating spacedust through straws made of the spines of deceased international dignitaries, that sort of thing - PETA has singled the pair of them out for the full brunt of their abuse because they wear fur coats now and again. That's right, PETA doesn't call them Mary-Kate And Ashley Olsen any more - it calls them Hairy Kate and Trashley Trollsen.
And that's fighting talk right there.
PETA - the organisation that promises to keep showing us pictures of naked women until the fur trade has been stamped out entirely, the bastards - tends to only deal in black and white. If PETA likes you then it'll call you sexy. But if PETA doesn't like you, then you should expect a right rough ride from the group.
If it's not dumping horseshit on your doorstep or spoiling your dinner or - worst of all - making Heather Mills chase you around dressed in a great big telly, then PETA is destroying your credibility by making a vaguely substandard Flash game about you on its website. And that's the hell that Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen are going through right now.
PETA's new campaign to stop people wearing fur or eating meat or wearing leather or torturing rabbits or smiling or having fun involves two characters named Hairy Kate and Trashley Trollsen, obviously based on Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen - two people who PETA has got the hump with because they won't stop wearing bits of dead animals when they go out. According to PETA:
Some say that Hairy-Kate and Trashley are guilty of offending their fans with some major fashion boo-boos, but here at peta2, we think that's the understatement of the year! The twins' heartless decision to wear fur and include it in their new fashion line, The Row (more like "Death Row"), is worse than a fashion no-no—it's cruelty to animals. The Trollsens have ignored our pleas to stop wearing fur—and have since added horribly ugly fur items to their new clothing line. It's obvious that we need your help to convince them that wearing fur is wrong and hideous!
And it doesn't stop there - PETA has also made a video about Mary-Kate and Ashley that's based on a sitcom we've never watched and full of references that mean nothing to us. It's hilarious…
All very clever, we're sure. But none of these dreary tactics endear us to PETA at all - in fact, if anything it just makes us feel sorry for the Olsen twins. After all, it's easy to judge and mock them for wearing needlessly cruel pieces of outerwear, but one of them is doing it with Lance Armstrong, for God's sake. Lance Armstrong! Haven't these people suffered enough already?

you know what? it is cruel to kill animals for clothing and i respect what peta stands for but my sympathy goes to mk and ash. they’re not the only fur-wearers out there.
i don’t like how peta’s handled the situation though. the doll dressing gimmick, it only makes me think of peta lower, and it shows that the olsens are more mature in this issue by not making a big deal about the situation, making peta looking like the whining baby. by the way, “hairy-kate “, “trashley”, that’s brilliant! even a 4 year old could’ve thought of that.

PETA needs to Shut the Hell up and quit messing with these two Famous Twins. And for them to let them where what they want to wear it is the olsen twins life. The olsens need to sue PETA I wouldn’t have no sympathy for PETA for the way they are acting about the olsens wearing fur. And they just need to go to hell and the olsens will not take off that fur I think it is fake fur not real by the way. At lease the olsens paid for the fur coats what they wear it’s not like they stoled anything from PETA. So PETA stop your Bitching these girls were little girls that became Famous on Full House and all you all doing is threating for them to stop wearing the Fur get a life PETA the olsens hopefully they should sue you people for hating on them to take off there fur. But I would think if the olsen twins sue PETA they will always win and they will not lose no money of theirs. I dont care how the olsen twins look it’s there life and that’s how they want to dress as in fur let them be. Hopefully Bob Saget or will lash out at PETA for messing with his TV daughters and maybe help the olsen twins sue those people.

Your posting really does not deserve a response, but….
The next time you are trying to bash a corporation on a public website, you should probably try using correct grammar in at least (not at lease) just one of your sentences. Your argument makes you sound stupid enough as it is. The least you could do is take an English class and write correctly. And for future reference, you cannot sue someone “for hating on them”. Do us all a favor and go to school. YOU ARE AN IDIOT!

i am totally with peta on this………its cruel to kill animals. why do you even need real fur anyway? whats the big deal cant they just use faux fur? and i think it takes someone heartless and cruel to kill animals………..they have lives too and there not to be tourtured. FUR IS WORN BY BEAUTIFUL ANIMALS AND UGLY PPL!

Amber, You are clearly a very stupid person who has not yet developed the ability to think for yourself. You have obviously been sucked in to the whole idea of following celebrities just like the Olsen Twins, they are so thin they appear as though they are on their death beds (what a shame) The way they wear massive fur coats just to look as though they are ‘important’ it makes me sick. Until you have been skinned alive, burnt or trapped and cut in half, then thrown over the back of somebody that wanted you there in the first place, I don’t really think someone like you has a right to stick up for these pathetic girls, in fact they aren’t girls….they are wannabe clones of a monster that is unfortuanetly our world today. So do everyone a favour and take your immature not-so sensible opinions to someone else like the mary-kate and ashley fan club for 4 year olds.

It is up to them what they wear no one should be hating on that because they can’t help what they like and what they don’t like.But i don’t really see what is wrong with fake fur?? It’s a bit snobby having to have real fur.And that hate site of them is stupid just because they were seen wearing a fur coat.Don’t get me wrong i think their fashion is great but after i saw this i changed my mind.It is cruel.Please do not reply if you are going to hate on me i will ignore it and it will be a wayste of time.

I agree that no one should wear fur. Fur is worn by beautiful animals and ugly people, i agree with that. An animal looks beautiful always, but a human wearing fur always looks ugly-even these girls. They look silly and you can tell that they don’t care for the welfare of these animals.
However, I don’t agree with what PETA are doing here. They’re only two people, and having a web page dedicated to making them give up fur is a bit extreme. Two people giving up fur won’t stop the rest of the wrold.
I don’t agree with the childsih and stupid manner in which they do it either.
