I really like this serie. While waiting the new movie Terminator – The Salvation (which will be release at 2008 end) we can enjoy this well finished Fox tv serie.

Okay, lets get this set straight, there’s no 1980s Linda Hamilton, no Arnold Schwarzenegger, no James Cameron directing, its got a guns n’ roses track, and is in likeness to, oh god, smallville and 24, two series that also suck. Jee yeah, my anticipation for this series is through the roof! The only reason they’re doing it is because 1. They don’t know how to create their own stuff. And 2. They’re using the success of T1 and T2 as leverage for making money out of T3, T4 and The Sarah Connor Chronicles. I’m going to spell it out for you: They’re ruining the terminator legend faster than Gerald Ratner ruined his father’s company.

Oh yeah, didn’t Smallville do exactly what this series is doing? Take an older story and recycle it to a modern audience, badly. And as for 24, “way to figure that an anti-terrorist action series would make huge ratings”, thanks america.

The ‘You Could Be Mine’ video is nothing compared to the mighty ‘Big Gun’ video by AC/DC for the Last Action Hero sound-track. Cheese-fest! Shame Arnie’s too old to churn out the movie classics these days…

This show is actually really good. When I first heard about it, I figured after T3 they should just let the whole thing die, but this is actually a whole lot better and closer in spirit to the first two films then T3.

*minor spoiler*

Regarding your “…we saw Terminator 3 at the cinema…” comment, the pilot finds a nifty way of completely ignoring that T3 ever happened, so you never know, they might actually get to kill him this time.
