American Idol (CDs) judge Paula Abdul (CDs) has been the centre of attention for the last few days. The ABC network is said to be preparing an ‘explosive’ documentary about all sorts of crazy sex and drug escapades they claim she gets up to.
For those of you who haven’t seen American Idol, it’s a lot like Pop Idol, but Ant & Dec (CDs) have morphed into one person, Ryan Seacrest, possibly the single most vacant person ever to appear on a TV screen.
The judges are Simon Cowell, Randy Jackson and Paula Abdul. Cowell keeps to the same schtick he does over here, Jackson sort of screams the word "dog" over and over and over, like a big fat obsessive compulsive kid, and Abdul giggles and gives vague encoragement to anyone that’ll listen.
Most people would put her lack of focus down to her being a bit dim, but avid fans on Idol messageboards have speculated that some kind of substances might be involved.
And now, to add to her worries, a former American Idol contestant named Corey Clark, is claiming they had an affair in 2003.
Representatives of Abdul have said "Paula Abdul will not dignify the false statements made by Corey Clark with a response."
Luckily, she will dignify the drug claims with a response. "Drugs? If only people knew what I’ve gone through with pain and pills".
She’s talking about the painkillers she took after her multiple car crashes and plane crash left her with a severe backache.
Scandal or no scandal, it doesn’t really matter. All hecklerspray knows is that she got famous for singing a song with a cartoon cat. And let that speak for itself.
The documentary, Fallen Idol, will be shown on May 4th.
