One of the more unlikely aspects of the nasty divorce between Paul McCartney and Heather Mills is the claim that Paul McCartney used to abuse his first wife Linda – and not just by singing Mull Of Kintyre to her now and again, either.
Sort of half backing up these claims possibly a bit were the existence of Linda McCartney's audio diary tapes – tapes where Linda McCartney alternated between thinking up delicious things to do with parsnips and apparently crying her eyes out about all the horrible stuff that Paul McCartney made her do, like sing on Helen Wheels or something. In fact nobody knows exactly what is contained within the Linda McCartney tapes and now they probably never will – Paul McCartney has reportedly bought the tapes for £200,000 during a secret meeting in a London branch of Eat. Which sounds like a lot of money, but Paul McCartney was in Eat, where a smoothie, a prepacked sandwich and some slices of apple in a little plastic bag cost about six times that amount.
Your perception of someone can really change over the course of a year, can't it? Up until recently for example, Paul McCartney was mostly known as the waggly-headed, thumb-waving member of The Beatles who spent all his life singing songs into space and dragging his lovely monoped wife Heather Mills up to Canada to happily roll about with some bemused seals. A year later, though, and Paul McCartney's messy divorce with Heather Mills has entirely changed his changed his public image. Now, instead of a lovable moptop, we mainly see Paul McCartney as a snarling wineglass-toting wife abuser who only gets up from laying hungover in his nest of drugs to laugh at his disabled wife and push her over small tables sometimes.
Needless to say, it's been said that Paul McCartney will fight these abuse claims in court, possibly because Rod Stewart told him to, but that doesn't clear up the claims that Paul McCartney used to beat his first wife Linda around too. Because, while Paul McCartney and Heather Mills were busy changing locks and hiring royal divorce lawyers, rumours were circulating that tapes existed where Linda McCartney can he heard offloading about the darker aspects of being married to Paul McCartney.
When news of these tapes got out Stella McCartney threatened to kill Heather Mills, but Paul McCartney has had a slightly less insane idea – he's apparently bought the Linda McCartney tapes from their owner Peter Cox for £200,000, as the New York Daily News reports:
The ex-Beatle was handed an envelope stuffed with audiotapes – which may contain damaging reflections on his first marriage – in a meeting with Peter Cox… The two men sat in public view in a central London café on Wednesday and drank smoothies and nibbled pastry as they discussed McCartney's venomous split from Mills, the Mail said. Citing a witness to the meeting, the Mail reported that McCartney allegedly said about Mills: "Everyone knows she is a liar." He reportedly said her lies included allegations in recent leaked documents that McCartney had a drinking problem "just because I sometimes go to pubs." According to the witness, McCartney also revealed that Mills is seeking 80 million British pounds as a divorce settlement.
Since Linda McCartney tapes are such big business, we've got one of our own we'd like to sell. Instead of potentially dramatic revelations about her marriage to Paul McCartney, this Linda McCartney tape is a cassette copy of Wings At The Speed Of Sound that we picked up at a boot fair a few years ago. Bidding starts at £200,000. £100,000? £100? £1? 10p? OK, that's probably a fair price, it is pretty terrible.

Whoever wrote this article clearly hates Paul McCartney. There are literally dozens of bad things, completely opinionated by the way, said about macca in this shitty article. They actually let such biased people write public news articles?

There are people willing to vouch for Paul and Linda McCartney’s marriage and this idiot who wrote this article took bloody Heather Mills’ ugly ass words against Paul’s and the rest of the people who know for a fact that she’s lying? Taking a look at the sidelined articles, I can see that this website loves a bloody scandal and doesn’t care if it’s true or not, and that it loves to hate on literally EVERYTHING. People like Heritage who wrote this article are the reason that the media shouldn’t be trusted. Free speech, fair enough. But there are opinion articles and articles that are written to inform, and this is NOT the latter. This is pure bias and anyone who read this article and believed it is literally a sheep. Some people get me so bloody annoyed, and it’s people like Heritage and Heather Mills who just adore making others look bad despite whether or not what they say is true that just piss me right off! If Paul was going to buy the Linda McCartney “abuse” tapes, why do it in EAT? Why not in secret where no one knew? Is everyone really that thick that they think a multi-millionnaire couldn’t do it in the privacy of his own home? No one would have known about it then, probably makes more sense, and so what he bought mightn’t even have been the tapes, and yet this website runs articles like this – no, no! And yet people like Heritate WRITE articles like this! Argh, get a life! Stop hating on everyone else, just because Paul, even after his divorce, is richer than you could ever hope to be.

The person discussed in this article is NOT the REAL James Paul McCartney. This man is a fake; masquerading as the real deal. As such, he deserves the acrimony he receives for his pathetic attempts to impersonate a true human being who was kind and compassionate. FAUL is a FRAUD.

Sad how Heather had such nasty propaganda against her after the divorce. I think Paul married her because she looked like Linda, but it was too soon and she was too modern, as a strong and independent woman. See the video on youtube where Heather Mills is trying to talk about Veganism, and the interviewer just wants her to talk about the divorce and get angry.
