Patrick Moore Hates All Women
Then buzz it up

As presenter of The Sky At Night, xylophone maestro and, um, Gamesmaster, Sir Patrick Moore ranks as one of Britain's most prodigiously intelligent individuals and everything he says is always right - and now Sir Patrick Moore is saying girls are crap.
Not all girls, of course; even Sir Patrick Moore must know that women are good at some things - like cooking him his tea, or buffing his monocle - but Patrick Moore will never forgive women for the way that they have ruined his beloved BBC with all their soaps and makeover shows. Sir Patrick has lashed out at the BBC in a Radio Times interview for not broadcasting enough shows that men want to watch, like The Sky At Night, The All-Star Xylophone Symphony Hour and Old Misogynists Moany Soapbox Time.
Sir Patrick Moore is something of an institution. At 84 years old, as the presenter of the longest-running show on television, Patrick Moore has earned the right to say exactly what he thinks. This in itself is harmless enough because Moore tends to speak in a hoity-toity machinegun babble that's largely incomprehensible to the human ear, so he could preach white power and nobody would be any the wiser.
But when Patrick Moore's witterings are put down in print for people to read, his thoughts tend to look a bit balder. Like, say, his thoughts on how women are destroying the BBC with their 'emotions' and their 'feelings'. Sir Patrick Moore has an interview in the new edition of the Radio Times, where he blames women for pretty much everything he can think of. The Times reports Moore's yelpings:
“The trouble is that the BBC now is run by women and it shows: soap operas, cooking, quizzes, kitchen-sink plays. You wouldn’t have had that in the golden days.”
Ah, the golden days. They were so much better than today. Back then a man could sit down, turn his television on, wait 35 minutes for it to warm up and then watch a man - a man - discuss important things like the biology of the human eye in a voice that would make the Queen sound like a council estate pikey. These days we have Two Pints Of Lager And A Packet Of Crisps. Who's to say which one is better. Patrick Moore then goes on to describe how even his beloved science fiction has been destroyed by women:
“I used to watch Doctor Who and Star Trek, but they went PC – making women commanders, that kind of thing. I stopped watching.”
But Patrick Moore isn't just a complainy old man who rails against new things he doesn't understand because he doesn't want to face his old age - he's a pragmatist. That's why Sir Patrick Moore wants to see one BBC station for men and another for women:
“I would like to see two independent wavelengths – one controlled by women, and one for us, controlled by men. I think it may eventually happen.”
Actually, that might not be such a bad idea. The female BBC could be full of all the typical clutter about fashion and cushions that obviously offends Sir Patrick Moore so much, while the male BBC would be dedicated to broadcasting only things that men want to watch - who knows, it might even mean our series Exploding Beer-Drinking Robot Dinosaurs On The Island Of The Sexy Ninja Prostitutes will finally get picked up. If anything, Sir Patrick should be congratulated for his progressive thoughts.

Well, quite. Although, I think he may just be describing a cross between men&motors and discovery science. Something you can have just by adjusting the favourites button on your remote.

I am sorry to say you are another mysoginist prick. Sir Patrick Moore might be very good regarding astronomy but obviously other aspects of his life are not that great.
Any sociologist would be able to spot that what happens to TV programs is more due to certain globalisation trends, many of them coming from the USA, that to women.
TV is still male dominated, so it is not this the problem, obviously. We, women, love documentaries on the universe, politics, and climate change, for instance.
According to certain statistics more women see those programs that men, and crap TV appeals to both sexes. It is a question of culture, not of sex.
