The nominations came out and as I have hardly heard of any of the movies nominated, despite the fact that I watch at least a movie a day, I decided to see all the nominations. I watched all the movies nominated for best picture, today, and I could hardly stay awake!!!

Screw the Oscars. They nominate HORRIBLE movies that have very little entertainment value. I walked out of The Curious Case of B in the theaters due to boredom and most of these other movies nominated are HORRIBLE.

The people doing the nominating need to remember that movies are made for ENTERTAINMENT, not to be judged by elite old geezers who are VERY out of touch with the consumer.

I will not be watching the Oscars this year.

Although I remember Heath on this day in remorse, I have to admit, that last line in the second paragraph about his acceptance speech made me laugh my balls off! Thanks for the chuckle quickie.

The Oscars yet again snub a groundbreaking movie just because it’s not up to their ‘tastes’. What a bunch of snobs. Oh well, The ‘Dark Knight’ will be remembered for decades, while ‘Button’, ‘Milk’, ‘The Reader’, and ‘Frost/Nixon’ will be forgotten within the year. I know one thing for sure: the ratings will suck again this year & I won’t be watching them.

the oscars this year are being post-poned until a time when people have money to spend on such a lavish affair. i was upset at first, but it makes sense i suppose. id rather people have a place to live and shit.
