One Is Enough For Pink Floyd Reunion
Then buzz it up

After Pink Floyd got back together to make a special appearance at Live 8, certain members of the population started getting excited about the possibility of a full-scale Pink Floyd reunion tour.
But that’s not the case. Pink Floyd want to make it very clear to everyone that they’ve bored one audience too many they don’t plan to get together again for the foreseeable future because they still hate each other are all too busy and stuff.

For many people, the highlight of last summer’s Live 8 concert
wasn’t Peter Kay singing that bloody Amarillo song over and over and
over, or The Stereophonics trundling listlessly through some of their awful songs. Many people enjoyed seeing Pink Floyd (CDs) get back together to sing a
bunch of their plodding songs that all sounded the same most of all.
"Wow," they all thought. "What are the chances of Pink Floyd to get
back together full time to play loads of these songs in a row? Maybe Wyclef can
come on at the end and do his version of Wish You Were Here, too." But
those hopeful thoughts have all been nixed by Pink Floyd themselves.
Except for the Wyclef part. We just stuck that in to wind you up.
The Sunday Mirror newspaper reported that a Pink Floyd reunion was
bound to take place this summer, with the Albert Hall apparently being
booked for at least two dates. But that’s absolutely not the case at all, according to Pink Floyd curmudgeon-in-chief Dave Gilmour:
"Certain sections of the media have deliberately misled fans. We are telling fans directly this is not happening … We are also asking the various parties who are fabricating these stories to desist, if only for the sake of the fans."
Spoilsport.

Well, what can I say! I think that if Pink Floyd don’t reunite this year 2008, then it will be too late. I love PF and have done for 40 years, but I’m fed up having Roger, David, Rick and Nick wave a carrot under our nostrels saying “maybe….. oneday”. A mesage to the guys: You are not getting any younger! Neither are we, your fans. We could all die this year. Is Heaven (or Hell, come to that), the only place we’re gonna see Pink Floyd rock out for us, one more time! Just leave your egos and desrespect for each other on a hill some place and go play Hyde Park one last time, for us, the fans, cos we love you and deserve it.
