Now Janet Street-Porter Becomes A Racist

Janet Street-Porter Racist Neighbour While the UK has been divided over the whole culture clash/ racism issue with cockney gobshite Jade Goody leading the way towards a potential World War Three with India, it obviously seems to us that this must be the way forward for celebrities.

You can’t be anyone unless you’re a racist. And this trend seems to be continuing. Somebody else has now been accused of racism and its no other then Janet Street-Porter, the star of I’m Not Really A Celebrity But I Just Want To Raise My Profile In The Public Eye So I Can Cash In From Interviews When Its All Over, or something like that. Unlike Jade Goody, who has made a career from having slightly less intelligence than two short planks, Janet Street-Porter is actually an intelligent-ish person, a member of the rather posh-sounding Royal Television Society and, bizarrely, the Vice-President of the Rambler's Association. So it strikes us as a little bit strange that someone with such a high profile could potentially slur her neighbour with any kind of racist comment. What did she do wrong?

Did Janet Street-Porter slag her neighbour’s chicken-cooking abilities off, or was her racist incident just a simple cultural misunderstanding? A spokesperson from the old bill told BBC News

"On 16 January, a 59-year-old woman attended a north London police station by appointment and was arrested in connection with an alleged racially aggravated public order offence.”

Time will tell, we guess, about who did what and what was said, although Janet Street-Porter has denied the charges against her. In the meantime, we’re gonna sit back and watch Jade Goody get literally hanged in public when she more than likely gets evicted from Celebrity Big Brother tonight. Plenty of fun to be had there as we wonder if Davina will try and soften the heckles and boos with love and cuddles or lay in to her and make her wriggle like an eel.

But in a final thought from us like Jerry Springer used to do, can’t we all just get along and spread some love? We love you…

It’s all very easy for ignorant people to accuse Janet of being racist, but didn’t you realise that she went out with a black man for over 6 years. Yes… his name was Normsky and in the late 80′s he had his own TV show… you remember now.

The neighbour who accused Janet did not know this fact, and neither does the writer of this page, Matthew Laidlow.

Get a life!
