Bono_alicia_keys…Fans of bad charity singles rejoice! Bono and Alicia Keys have recorded a cover of the Kate Bush/Peter Gabriel song Don’t Give Up to help the Africans. It’ll be released on Tuesday through iTunes, and will hopefully have a video of Alicia Keys playing the piano in the snow while her boyfriend gets arrested and Bono spouts a bunch of nonsense about how important his music is. Why not just donate directly to keepachildalive.org instead of putting yourself through the agony of hearing the shouty/warbley song in the first place - Alicia Keys and Bono to release song - ABC

…Turns out that the NME Album Of The Year list might not be honestly voted for as you’d expect. It explains why the Kate Bush album - which sounds mostly like a 1970s Channel Four schools programme about nuclear power stations - has done so well in it.
