The British Columbia-born Furtado, 28, told Blender in July 2006 she had a "secret boyfriend" of eight months, adding: "I just don't really talk about it. It's nobody famous or anything."

According to reports, Nelly Furtado and Demacio "Demo" Castellon met while Nelly was making her Loose album. It's hard to know what first attracted Castellon to the Furtado, who was busy singing songs like Maneater, Promiscuous, Do It and secret hidden album track I'm Really Bloody Horny All The Time I Am, Really, I'm Desperate To Have Sex With Anyone, but it was probably something to do with their personalities or something.
