MySpace Trawl – FC Kahuna

Digg this!

Again dear reader, lets us clarify with you that FC Kahuna aren’t eleven people who play for a football club called Kahuna.

It is instead the project of the duo Jon Nowell and Daniel Ormondroyd. We pretty much see them as the UK’s underground version of The Chemical Brothers. They have the ability to produce throbbing electro, house and club music alongside more delicate tracks.

So far, 2002’s Machine Says Yes is their only studio release, but corkers like Hayling have been extensively used to soundtrack programmes as varied as Top Gear and strangely, University Challenge: The Professionals. That’s unless Wikipedia is lying to us.

Thankfully, FC Kahuna are in the process of serving up new music for our ears. According to a blog post in February, new stuff in being tinkered with. Lets hope it comes soon.
