MySpace Trawl – Child Of Hatred

Child Of Hatred MySpaceYes we know, you should never judge a book by its cover, but that's what we have done. So blah to you.

If anyone wants to complain, bring it. We feel more than capable of taking you on. And if you do cause us trouble, our trusty wooden chip fork will come in handy. With a name like Child Of Hatred, we were immediately drawn to him.

Did we expect to hear music that would soundtrack fluffy bunnies whilst they went to market to buy a pound of sausage from mother goose? No, not really. In retrospect, we assumed it would be the sort of music you’d here as a group of angry magical foxes slaughtered the rabbits for their house. And we were right. Not about the animals, we’re just weird, but about some the music.

Whilst this isn’t the sort of stuff you’d put on a party to get the guests crapply dancing away, it does have its use around the house. Have a neighbour who’s pissing you off? Just crank some of Child Of Hatred’s stuff on to turn the tables. Soon they’ll be screeching at you to turn it off as it slowly reduces their brain to mush.

Or, it could be the thing that bonds you both. From there, you could drive around the local estate blasting it out until the eardrums of people all around you burst.

This industrial sound is lovingly influenced by such other ear-shattering genres like power noise, death metal and other forms of electronic metal. From techno to hardcore, all sorts of musical flavours can be heard. Whilst this is more than likely to cause headaches to the non-noise lover, it will definitely excite those who have a passion for deranged mentalist-sounding throbbing drum patterns, all held together with lashings of digital feedback.

OK, we admit, it’s a bit of a specialist one this week, but we promise it’ll be toned down next week. Unless, you want some more?
