***LATEST MTV MUSIC VIDEO AWARDS ODDS HERE***

Alicia_keysOnly five days to go until the newly-named Diddy hosts the 2005 MTV Music Video Awards in Miami. So here’s another chance to make yourself rich with our special betting odds rundown.

Today, we’ll take a look at the Best R&B Video category. R&B stands for many things. Ritalin and Buspirone. Rice and Beans. Richard and Budy. In fact – when talking about music – R&B means when a lady goes "woah woah woah" over the top of a slow instrumental hip-hop track. Usually.

Let’s see the latest odds for the MTV MVA Best R&B Video nominees, brought to you by hecklerspray and Betfair.com

Alicia Keys: Karma – There’s a good chance
that Alicia’s been nominated for this award because it’s the only video
she’s ever starred in where she’s not fighting with some bloke who ends
up getting arrested. Instead, the video for Karma shows Alicia on
holiday, playing a pink piano in an amphitheatre. You’d think she’d be
happy, but no. She’s still banging on about how shit men are. Current
odds – 1/50

Ciara w/Ludacris: Oh
- Ciara’s millionth nomination in the MTV awards is for Oh. The video
sees her dancing on a stage, dancing on top of a car and, most
controversially of all, holding up a street carnival by forgetting to
walk as well as dance. The majorettes are gonna be livid. Current odds
- 1/50

John Legend: Ordinary
People
– In Ordinary People, John sings about how ordinary
he is. Which is rich, coming from a globally successful pop singer. If
he was ordinary, he’d be fighting with a single mother of eight over a
25% off jumper on the first day of the BHS sales. But where’s his song
about that, huh? Current odds – 1/50

Mariah Carey
: We Belong
Together
– In which Mariah Carey stops hugging African orphans for ten
seconds to make a noise like a hijacked plane full of opera singers and
then dress up in her old wedding dress and swank about in a rubbish
video. She says We Belong Together is her most successful song ever. We
say – Why? Current odds – 1/50

Usher
w/Alicia Keys
: My Boo  – The most promising start to a video that we’ve
seen so far: Usher watches a video of himself twatting away in a swanky
bar, then gets so disgusted with it all that he turns it off. After that,
it’s downhill. He sings a sad song about Alicia Keys, Alicia Keys sings
a sad song about him, then they meet up in the middle of New York and
shout the word "oh" into each other’s faces until the song ends.
Current odds – 1/50

There’ll be more MTV MVA odds tomorrow, but in the meantime head over to the USA Special Bets
