Then buzz it up

Despite the best attempts of MTV’s producers, the 2005 MTV Latin America Video Music Awards show has been derailed by the increasing savagery of Hurricane Wilma.
The tropical storm has forced producers into a full postponement on safety grounds. The show was initially due to take place tomorrow evening in Playa del Carmen, in the Mexican Caribbean.
But with one eye on the eye of the storm, producers brought forward the event by one day and were preparing to host the MTV Latin America awards tonight. However, the worsening storm has made this an impossibility and producers have conceded to Mother Nature.
MTV Latin America have not yet announced a revised date for the show, nor indicated when the winners will be revealed.
The Category 5 storm is now headed for Central America.
