Mission Impossible 3 Casting News
Then buzz it up

Some casting news for you, folks! After many delays and its original director, Joe Carnahan (DVDs), having to drop out, it appears that Mission: Impossible 3 may be adding two names to its cast, one
well-known, the other… not quite as familiar.
First up is Jonathan Rhys-Meyers (DVDs), the Irish star who has appeared in such films as Bend It Like Beckham (no, not a porn film, okay? Filthy beggars!) and Woody Allen’s recently-debuted Match Point. He will be joined by rising starlet Michelle Monaghan (DVDs), who has on her CV roles in The Bourne Supremacy and soon to be released and most likely panned Mr and Mrs Smith.
Please note that this is only speculation, but if true, the two will both be joining Tom Cruise (DVDs) in the latest of the empty-headed blockbusting franchise. Expect explosions. Filming begins June 18 in Caserta, Italy.
And that’s all there is to say at the moment. Um… how’s the weather where you are?
