Over the weekend, Miley Cyrus made a guest appearance on-stage at a concert in LA by Israeli dubstep artist, DJ Borgore, with whom she recently collaborated on a really awful song. This caused major headlines because of the moderately sexed-up outfit?Miley wore and the fact that she shared the stage?with two topless dancers.
The concert, tastefully?called “Christmas Creampies,”?was the second of two sold-out events at the Music Box Theater, headlined by Borgore. Saturday night at 1:30am (so actually Sunday morning), Borgore surprised his?audience of undoubtedly very fucked-up electronica-lovers by?yelling: “Are you ready for my special guest?”?And out popped Miley, looking very grown-up indeed.
Miley and Borgore then performed?the song “Decisions,” which they recorded?together earlier this year. The song is?repetitive, boring, and, as is often the case,?it sounded even worse live than recorded. The only redeeming aspect of the song is the lyric “bitches love cake.” which, at least in my experience, is quite true.
Miley’s outfit has raised a big stir, but it?really wasn’t that jaw-dropping. Her pants were tight and you could see her midriff and rather small cleavage.?You could see part of a tattoo on the side of her chest and yes, there was a chain … but none of it'struck me as being so shockingly S&M. It wasn’t terribly flattering, but nor was it nearly as risque as most coverage has made it out to be.
It is true that there were two pole-dancing strippers on stage when Miley was performing, but whatever. They’re probably saving up for med school, so don’t judge.
Miley desperately wants the world to recognize that she’s?a grown-up, so please stop freaking out when she doesn’t want to do the Hoedown Throwdown anymore. If everyone stops making a big deal, maybe she will go away.
