Germany_1This weekend sees the birthday of Michael Jackson’s Dad. He’s having a big party in Berlin. And he wants Michael to come.

If he turns up, it will be the first public appearance by Jackson (CDs) since he was found not guilty of child molestation. However, one German publication is claiming that not only will he visit his father’s party, Michael Jackson will actually move to Berlin for good.

According to Deutsche Welle, Jackson was so touched by the
warm-hearted support that Germans gave him during his trial that he’s
ready to up sticks and live there.

According to Shawn Andrews, one of Michael Jackson’s advisers, "Michael is a fan of Germany, and has fallen in love
with the city of Berlin."
Obviously not wanting of offend other Germans, Andrews added "The Jackson family also really likes the city
of Potsdam."

Apparently
though, after that statement the whole story falls into silly
speculation. Will Michael build an exact replica of Neverland in Germany?
Andrews says it’s "possible", which is what we do when a nutter sitting
next to us on a bus asks us a question and we’re too scared to say no.

Wherever Michael goes, it’s clear where he hasn’t been: in court. Michael and his lawyers failed to show up in a New Orleans court to face a sexual-assault lawsuit
on Wednesday. Joseph Thomas Bartucci Jr alleges that in 1984 Michael
Jackson sexually assaulted him and cut him with a razor blade.

Apparently,
the no-show was down to an administrative problem, but Jackson must
appear for a hearing on August 17th to explain why he should not be
held in contempt of court.

According to Jackson’s spokesman Brian Oxman, not showing up for court appearances is all "part of the magic and burden of being Michael Jackson."
