OK, that’s it. No more hecklerspray until next year. We’re all going to be far too busy doing traditionally English Christmassy things - things like eating sprouts and trying to make stilted conversation with our family and trying to get refunds on all the rubbish that people wrongly thought we’d like.

So that means that hecklerspray will be AWOL next week. Well, almost AWOL - instead of the entertainment news that you’ve grown to love, the hecklerspray writers - and a few very special guests - will be listing all the best stuff of 2005. For you.

We’ll be back first thing on January 2nd. Not that there’ll be any decent news around then, of course. But we’ll pull something out of our arses.

Finally, thanks for all your feedback over the last year.
