Maury Povich – Gettin’ Sued For Being Lewd (Allegedly)

maury povich sexual allegationsLoose women with lots of kids deemed him a savior of sorts – what with his constantly volunteering to run paternity tests on any number of trailer park wick-dippers. Anyone who loves watching food stamp junkies verbally debase each other for a free Maury sweatshirt & a paid night in an iffy motel – consider Maury Povich a decent activity mid-afternoon on a sick day.

But what happens when the crew behind the scenes of the popular Maury talk show are jointly accused of hostility, intimidation, humiliation, ridicule, sexual harassment, and being drunk and proud?

We mean besides an immediate ratings boost – P.T. Barnum style.

Day time talk show host Maury Povich finds himself right on par with his lewdest of guests, as a worker on his show has come out with incredible allegations of sexual misconduct on his part, and on the part of much of his staff.

A producer for the show – Bianca Nardi, 28 – filed a lawsuit worth 100 million US dollars against the host and other workers on the show. Maury & Co. stand more accused of perversion than a cross dressing, incest loving, KKK membership holding, gay step daughter – which could be found on almost any randomly given clip from the show.

Povich himself stands accused of only one thing – having an affair with a married woman that worked for him. His staff on the other hand, stands accused of forcing Nardi to watch porn for show clips, forcing her to expose her knockers to the crew, and making her tape up guest boobs. She also claims she was forced her to have her own cleavage filmed, was ordered to wear short skirts, low cut blouses, and push up bras. There's another allegation that the show made Nardi go "…to bars to secretly videotape married men agreeing to have sex with her."A spokesman for the show said:

"We are aware of the allegations of harassment made by Ms. Nardi. We have done a complete and thorough investigation of her allegations of harassment and we are satisfied that there is no merit to them.  We stand behind our experienced and dedicated staff, fully."

The husband of the woman accused of getting all sexy and slap happy with Povich had this to say about the allegations and the show's host:

"I think it's absurd. He's been a gentleman. Absolutely not. Not even close."

Nardi started working for the show in 2000, and claims the job's added tensions drove her to psychiatric treatment and caused her to gain 40-50 pounds. If that's harassment, it's not very good harassment. hecklerspray knows, upper management made us all take a class on how to do it more proficiently. We aced the first test, but then got kicked out for gross misconduct.  Ironic, we know.
