Lost is bloody confusing, isn't it? Just when you think you've got things cracked, a polar bear in a tutu will do a dance on Hurley's head and everyone's back to square one.

But at least we were safe in the knowledge that Lost couldn't get any more confusing than it already is. How wrong we were - Lost Experience is about to be launched. Lost Experience is an interactive Internet game that will feature parallel storylines and offer even more puzzling clues as to what the hell Lost is all about, presumably with the intention of actually exploding the brains of bewildered Lost fans everywhere.

Although those of us who live in painfully backwards Britain haven't even seen the first episode of Lost season two yet, the Americans are steaming ahead with all things Lost related. There's already a series of Lost micro-episodes for mobile phones, and now there's going to be Lost Experience, an interactive online Lost game.

Up until now, the only ways in which Lost has been interactive have either been when people have robbed Lost stars at gunpoint or, after sitting through a 15-minute willfully oblique Lost flashback, turned off the TV and had a little cry. But Lost Experience looks set to change all that, by being the single most confusing thing ever created by man.

Lost Experience is being touted as the largest interactive challenge based on a TV show, and it will be run by ABC and 19 other TV networks around the world. So far, we know that a Lost Experience clue will pop up at some point on May 3, but nobody will say if it will appear during Lost or a commercial break.

And nobody is saying anything else about Lost Experience, either. Lost bosses are saying that clues will pop up anywhere in the world, at any time, on any medium, and you'll need to contact people from all around the world to get the bigger picture. Mike Benson, senior vice president of marketing for ABC Entertainment, says:

"The game reaches back into 'Lost' history and looks forward to
future episodes. We wanted to make it so that if you watched
'Lost' from the beginning or if you've never watched the show before
you can get into this."

So will Lost Experience finally start answering some questions about Lost, or will it just provide layer upon layer of extra pretend-deep mysteries to a show already struggling under the weight of question marks. What do you think?
