Look! Lots Of People Dancing In Liverpool Street Station

by Stuart Heritage on January 19, 2009 5 Comments

As people who regularly get infuriated to the point of violence when our morning march through the train station is held up by, say, child carol singers, we didn’t think we’d enjoy this video.

After all, it’s essentially a video of some self-absorbed bastards holding up the entire Liverpool Street railway station one morning by dancing around like bellends in a flashmob-inspired prank.

But you know what? It’s actually quite heartwarming. And, yes, it’s an advert for a telephone company, but who cares? It’s lovely. However, if they try it around us in the future, we’d like it on record that someone will end up eating their bloody shoes.

“Sponsored videos” (adverts) are fine but don’t lie to us and make out like they’re articles. You bring down the entire quality of the site by pretending these are articles, because we watch them and think “WTF has happened to Hecklerspray, that wasn’t even funny..?”.

That’s the most annoying thing I have ever seen in a train station – and there is quite a list.

Yeah Anonymous, cause Hecklerspray was founded on public service, pro bono principles.

Surely you can’t begrduge them a few bob – there’s got to be some reward for trolling Robert Pattinson fans every day.

“Don’t lie to us and make out like they’re articles”. It says it’s an ad in the text, you berk. It’s obviously an ad anyway, as anyone doing that For Real at a British station is likely to be pelted by teens with fast food wrappers / empty cans until they give up and jump on the tracks. Which is a shame because it looks like fun.

Goddam posers pretending to be a Flash mob in a poorly devised viral for an inferior pink phone company, I was trying to buy a razor at Boots and had the indignity of having to push my way through some out of work ballerinas whoring their dancing talent to this piece of crap advert, I wanted to smash their faces into a pulp!! F off we hate you!!!
