Then buzz it up

Many of you will know Mos Def as that bloke from The Office's friend in The Hitchhiker's Guide To The Galaxy, or the baddie in that staggeringly bad film that Robert De Niro and Eddie Murphy were in together.
But when he's not making badly-judged movies, Mos Def is one of hip hop's biggest talents. His debut album Black On Both Sides is never too far out of our reach at any given point in time and, although his second album was a bit more hit and miss, Mos Def is back next month with album number three Tru3 Magic. Whether or not Tru3 Magic will be as indispensable as Black On Both Sides remains to be seen, although production credits by Pharrell Williams and Kanye West have boosted our hopes somewhat. And, just because we love you, we've got a taster of Tru3 Magic by Mos Def right here for you. It's called Boogie Man and - if it's any indication of the album - we get the feeling that the phrase 'return to form' is going to be used a whole lot of times when people talk about Mos Def in the next month or so.

Hey, don’t forget he was in “The Italian Job” with Marky Mark and Charlize Theron.
