You know how yesterday we mentioned that Lindsay Lohan might want to ease off on all the attention seeking in 2006? Yeah, she’s not listening. In fact, it looks like she
wants to set an all-time record for attention seeking this year.

This time yesterday, everyone was concerning themselves with the big asthma attack that Lindsay suffered - but times move fast on Planet Lohan. She’s just given a major interview all about her trouble with drugs and bulimia, you see.

2006 - five days in, two Lindsay Lohan headlines. That’s good attention seeking, but not great attention seeking.

Yesterday, the only problem that we thought Lindsay Lohan (CDs/DVDs) had was
that her poor little lungs weren’t up to dealing with all the humidity
in Florida - she ended up in hospital after suffering a big asthma attack. But we were wrong - Lindsay Lohan is a veritable whirlwind of dysfunction.

In an interview with Vanity Fair, Lindsay admits dabbling in drugs
"a little". But when pushed about the nature of her drug
use - specifically cocaine - Lindsay stammers:

"I don’t want people to think that I’ve done… you know what I mean?"

However,
Lindsay Lohan is far more forthcoming about her battle with bulimia.
After all, Princess Diana had that, and some people quite liked her,
didn’t they? Lindsay recalls the time that she realised that she was an enormous mess - as some of the Saturday Night
Live
crew sat her down and shone a mirror on her state:

"I was making myself sick… They said, `You need to take care of yourself. We care about you
too much, and we’ve seen too many people do this, and you’re talented,’
and I just started bawling. I knew I had a problem and I
couldn’t admit it. I saw that `SNL’ after I did it. My arms were disgusting. I had no arms."

But don’t cry for Lindsay Lohan, because it was just a phase and - asthma notwithstanding - she’s all better now:

"I’ve
gotten that out of my system… You have to learn for yourself and you
have to hit rock bottom sometimes to get yourself back to the top."

And
- believe us - Lindsay did hit rock bottom. We saw Herbie: Fully
Loaded
, and if that isn’t rock bottom, we don’t know what is.

But we’re far more concerned about Lindsay Lohan’s pacing. By getting the hospital thing, the drug thing and the
bulimia thing out of the way in the first five days of 2006, what does that leave her to get headlines for in the rest of the year?
Amputation? Murder? A secret undernourished co-joined twin attached to
her thigh? She’s set the bar pretty high, has Lindsay Lohan.
