Just when you thought that nothing to do with the death of Anna Nicole Smith could shock you any more, along comes a book claiming that Larry Birkhead and Howard K Stern were secret deal-cutting gay lovers all along.

In a new book called Blonde Ambition: The Untold Story Behind Anna Nicole Smith’s Death, former MSNBC journalist Rita Cosby alleges that Larry Birkhead and Howard K Stern, the two people who fought so bitterly over the paternity of Anna Nicole Smith’s daughter Dannielynn, were gay lovers who secretly agreed that Stern would be named as the executor of Anna Nicole Smith’s estate so long as Larry Birkhead could have her daughter. Larry Birkhead has denied these allegations and has threatened to sue Rita Cosby for printing them but you have to agree that, true or false, this story is way more interesting than, say, Brad Pitt blithering on about wanting more kids.
