If she didn’t look impassive enough already, this week, Kristen Stewart reminded the world that she truly does not give a crap.
You can love her, you can hate her—she’s fine with either. As long as she’s getting paid to nervously fidget on camera, she’s cool with it, she says.
It’s been a while since Stewart’s cheating scandal was uncovered, but I guess some Twilight fans are still wounded. They took that shit harder than Robert Pattinson. And to them, Stewart has offered her half-hearted apologies.
“I apologize to everyone for making them so angry. It was not my intention,” Stewart said in a recent interview.
But really, the opinions of her fans make no difference to her one way or another.
“It’s not a terrible thing if you’re either loved or hated. But honestly, I don’t care because it doesn’t keep me from doing my shit.”
Ironically, if it were not for the undying love of Twi-hards everywhere, I doubt Kristen would be in the position she is right now, still doing her “shit.”
Though, you can’t blame her for not taking people like this seriously:
In the weeks following her cheating scandal, Stewart says she didn’t get out much and instead chose to lock herself in her hotel room.
“I used to just stay in my hotel room rather than deal with everything,” she told UK’s The Sun. “but if you get too caught up in what others think you become a really disjointed person.”
As for her decision to step back into the spotlight post scandal, Kristen said:
“You should never step outside of your life and look at it like it’s this malleable thing you can shape so that people view it a certain way. I would never not have gone to [my movie's screening]. I’ve been working on this for five years. I love this movie. I’m so proud of everyone involved — I feel so strong standing next to them.”
Meanwhile, Stewart and Pattinson are back together, and with a vengeance. Apparently, rumors are circulating that Pattinson is shopping around for an engagement ring. A source told OK! Magazine:
“[Robert is] interested in combining rubies and black diamonds. The idea for black diamonds came to him when he was writing a song for Kristen. They are much more rare than regular diamonds, so Rob’s really drawn to the symbolism of that because they both feel like their relationship is extremely rare.”
What if he actually did pop the question, though? I can only imagine the amount of nervous twitching that would ensue.
