The headline pretty much says it all, really. As reported by the excellent fan site www.theonering.net, the first trailer for the new King Kong movie will go online next week.

Head over to www.KongisKing.net on Monday 27th, and you’ll be given a taste of Peter Jackson’s updated take on the 1933 classic (which is not actually that bad a film in itself— dated, yes, but very enjoyable).

No word yet on what’ll be seen, but we wouldn’t be surprised if the ‘star’ himself will be held back until the curtains pull back at your local theatre proper. But if we’re wrong, then there’s no telling what will happen…
