Kimberly_stewart_engagedRemember all that talk about Kimberly Stewart being in The Simple Life instead of Nicole Richie? It looks like Kimberly still wants the job - she’s taken up mimicking Paris Hilton’s every move.

Kimberly Stewart was in the car with Paris Hilton when Stavros Niarchos put a jumper on his head and crashed into a van, and now she’s also trying her hand at the ‘getting engaged a lot’ thing, too. Kimberly announced that she is to wed Talan Torriero, star of some MTV reality TV thing.

Kimberly Stewart is famously the daughter of Rod Stewart. And it’s not hard to tell - the
similarities between father and daughter are beginning to show. Rod
loves younger women; Kimberly seems to love younger men - she’s 26
while Talan Torriero is seven years younger at 19. Rod has been married
and engaged to any number of women; this is Kimberly’s second
engagement of the year - she was engaged to Cisco Adler at the
beginning of 2005.

We’re not sure of Rod Stewart’s track record at totally stupefying
shotgun engagements, but it seems like Kimberly has that one nailed too
- it’s been reported that Stewart and Torriero have only actually known each
other for a couple of weeks.

Talan Torriero, if you were wondering, appeared in Laguna Beach - a
sort of MTV reality TV show about a school. We’re told that Talan was
the star, but for all we know he was the musky janitor with a stash of
porn under the boiler.

Now Laguna Beach has finished, though, Torriero
is taking part in the traditional post-reality TV fight to somehow stay famous.
With crushing inevitability, Talan has announced his intention to, you
know, sing or, like, act or something.

At least by getting engaged to Kimberly Stewart, Talan Torriero has
managed to top up his fame level just a little bit. Until they break
off the engagement at Easter and he writes a flop book called something
like Ain’t Love A Bitch - My Crazy Six Weeks With Kimberly Stewart, at
least.

    I think that the whole thing is stupid. There is no way that the should be getting married after knowing eachother for two months. She is just some nasty little slut that is trying way to hard to be like Paris Hilton or Britney Spears, and getting married for like a month and breaking up. It is the biggest flop I’ve ever heard of.

    Talan, you are too young to get married why be such a rush to get married. Much less a young lady that is 7 years older then you and has more experience then you Talan.
    From Laguna Beach Show you were a sweet guy with a whole lot going for you. Talan enjoy life and go to college first and also enjoy being single. Kim- is to old for you and to mature for you. I think that Talan is making a big mistake in his life. Talan don’t go through the engagement. Stawart can find a man that is 28-30 years old.
