Kevin Federline Builds Record Label In His Own Image

Digg this!

Kevin Federline Record label musicAdmit it: when you first heard Y'All Ain't Ready or PopoZao by Kevin Federline, the first thing you thought – after the laughter had died down a bit – was "is a record label actually going to release this arse?"

And now you have an answer – no. No record labels wanted to release anything that had anything to do with Kevin Federline, so Kevin Federline has done the only sensible thing – he's decided to pack in this whole music folly of his and reassess the utter pointlessness of his life. Not really – he's only gone and invented his own bloody record label, hasn't he?

Kevin Federline's musical career has had a long and rocky conception. Remember when Y'All Ain't Ready was leaked onto the internet to immediate blanket ridicule, even from his wife Britney Spears? Remember when Kevin Federline loudly proclaimed that he expected a backlash over his music, even through he didn't seem to realise that you need someone to actually like you in the first place in order to have something to backlash against? Remember when Kevin Federline stunned everyone by actually putting his marriage difficulties aside enough to record his album Playing With Fire, only to find that not a single record label around the world was interested in it?

Remember when Kevin Federline was so desperate to get his music to anyone that could loosely be described as his fans that he's created his own record label to release it on? Let's hope so, since we only told you about it a couple of paragraphs ago. Kevin Federline, undaunted by the fact that most people would rather slash open their bellies and roll about in salt than spend their money on anything to do with him, has created Federation Records and – guess what – Playing With Fire by Kevin Federline is going to be the label's first release.

With Playing With Fire's October release tantalisingly close, we're sure you can't wait to hear just how brain-cripplingly dreadful Kevin Federline's music actually is. The good news is that you don't have to wait long at all – K-Fed's all set to debut his new single Lose Control during Sunday's Teen Choice Awards, and it'll be all over your radios the very next day. And then it'll be all over Kevin Federline's brand new website soon after that. And then, about three days after it's released, it'll be all over the bargain bins at HMV, probably.

You know your music sucks when even Rhino Records won’t take it. They’re perfectly willing to crank out volumes of William Shatner covering the Beatles and Leonard Nimoy singing “Proud Mary,” but I guess even Rhino has to draw the line somewhere.
