Different people react to the end of a relationship in different ways. Some get angry, some cry, but not Kevin Federline – Kevin Federline has reacted to his upcoming divorce by going around trying to stick it in a bunch of weird slappers.
While Britney Spears has used the high level of publicity brought about by her recent split from Kevin Federline to show off a sleek, sexy confident new image, Kevin Federline seems to be attempting to pull off a similar laissez-faire attitude in public, only far less successfully. Kevin Federline spent a recent appearance in Chicago hitting on every female he saw like a drunk in an emptying Thames Valley nightclub at 3am, in between calling himself a "pimp" as often as he could. Of course, the real tragedy here is that this kind of turd-brained behaviour from Kevin Federline will start to go unreported as soon as he stops being famous, and we've got that pencilled in for next Thursday.
Now that Britney Spears has split up with Kevin Federline, young Kevin will need to do something he may not have done for a while; stand on his own two feet. All through their marriage it was Britney Spears who brought in the money, be it by posing for Tokyo-scaring naked photographs or appearing on badly-conceived episodes of Will And Grace or trying to sue magazines over the maybe-real Britney Spears sex tape. And Kevin Federline was happy to spend all of Britney Spears' money, at least until she decided to take back his credit card, that is.
While much has been made of Britney Spears using the divorce as a springboard to getting famous again, nobody seems to have spared a thought for poor Kevin Federline in all of this. Sure, that's mainly because Kevin Federline is the dirty-looking moron who kept complaining about being married to one of the world's most formerly-sexy millionairesses and then flew off to party in Vegas just after Britney had given birth to her second baby – but have a heart, people.
Even though Kevin Federline wants custody of his kids, we're not sure he'd have the means to do it. Look, Kevin Federline will soon have no wife, no home and, after that spectacularly weird publicity stunt, no shoes. Kevin Federline's album Playing With Fire is the only way Kevin can make money, and judging by all the recent cancelled concerts, he might not be making that much from it. So that's Kevin Federline's personal life, professional life and finances screwed, so what's a man to do? How about over-compensatingly putting it about at every personal appearance he makes? Sky reports:
At Chicago's House Of Blues club Wednesday night, he told the crowd: "Hey, I see a lot of fine ladies in here. "You know I'm a free man, right, ladies? You wanna dance with a pimp?" Later in the night, K-Fed pointed into the crowd and said: "That's a sexy-ass lady right there."
Maybe we're wrong about Kevin Federline, though. Maybe this isn't just overcompensating macho bluster to try and conceal his hurt from the world – maybe Kevin Federline just does want to get with some more ladies. After all, now Britney Spears isn't around any more, someone has to help Kevin out with his prolific 'baby a year' reproduction scheme.
