Katie Holmes is all set to give birth to a miniature Tom Cruise.

"Tom and Katie are very excited, and the entire family are very excited," said a beaming Cruise-spokeswoman. "Katie has never felt better."

Expect Cruise’s recent spate of cringe-worthy chat show ‘couch-jumping’ to begin all over again. And expect hecklerspray to be raising a sarcastic eyebrow at the whole media charade on a daily basis, all detached and cool like the new Ladytron album. We expect.

Still. Congratulations, Mr. Cruise (43) and young Ms. Holmes (26).

And – incidentally – what happened to all that ‘virgin until marriage’ spiel, huh Katie?
