The best thing about being a supermodel must be that heartbreak doesn’t really ever last that long – as one protracted messy break-up ends, someone usually wants to sweep you off your feet.
Just look at Kate Moss – it just seems like the other day that she was throwing things at Pete Doherty and screaming "I hate you," at him. But now Kate Moss has apparently found love again, with a posh schoolboy called Jamie. And it looks like she means it, too – it’s been reported that Kate has actually given Jamie a lock of her hair. Yeeerugh!
According to This Is London, Kate Moss (Books) has already told her friends
that she could be in love with Little Jamie Burke, the 20-year-old
student she met three weeks ago and has since been skiing with. If
reports are to be believed, Burke is proving to be the clean-cut
antidote to Moss’s relationship with sweaty guitar monkey Pete Doherty.
Pete and Kate split up after Doherty legged it from the rehab
facility that Moss had paid for, although Pete said it was because "my dick is too small." At the time, Kate dealt with the split by shouting at some South African photographers, but now it looks like she couldn’t be happier with Jamie Burke. A blabby source with a seemingly unstoppable mouth told This Is London:
"She says he is just what she needs as, after Pete Doherty, he makes her feel normal again. Despite being so much younger than her, he has a real public school
cockiness and she loves the way he orders her about. She says she has
never felt this way about a man before. She has given him a lock of her hair which he carries in his wallet
and he tells her that he wants to look after her and help her get over
everything she has been through. They have even been talking about how he will go and live with her in
Los Angeles. They are going at a ridiculously fast pace – Kate can’t
seem to realise that she is in lust but not love."
A lock of her hair? Poor tyke – he’d have probably preferred a spacehopper or a Myleene Klass Hear’Say action figure. We’ve said it before and we’ll say it again – yeeerugh.
