Babies.
They’re rubbish, aren’t they? Wailing spitting little blobs who grow up to be wailing spitting little toddlers. Face facts - babies simply don’t do anything.
Try telling that to Julianne Moore, though. She’s got a baby on the way - in fact, she’s the last remaining lady on the planet.
In her new film, that is.

Julianne Moore (DVDs) is set to star alongside perma-frowning Closer star Clive Owen in sci-fi thriller The Children Of Men - the story of Earth’s last knocked-up broad and the no-nonsense hard-man secret-agent-type assigned to protect her.
Seeing as further plot details have yet to be revealed, quite why she needs protecting is anyone’s guess. Perhaps a race of super-intelligent aliens caught a glimpse of a Vernon Kay programme and decided it was for the best if the entire human species was sterilised immediately - except they let Julianne off because they quite liked her in Boogie Nights. Or something.
What is certain, however, is that they are to be joined onscreen by elder statesman Michael Caine, who - bizarrely - is flexing his acting glands as "an ageing hippie".
Obviously Jack Black was unavailable, then.

Julianne Moore doesn’t play a pregant woman in this movie . They changed a lot of details contained in P.D James book . She plays a doctor here who helps the pregnant woman which is played by Claire Hope Ashley . The name of her character is Kee .

Hmm. How up to date is your info? From what I’ve read, Julianne’s character is not the pregnant one. The young black actress (can’t remember her name at the moment) plays that role.
