Joost: A Shameless Plea For Invites

Digg this!

Joost Invites JoostHere at hecklerspray we don't particularly care for standing up and walking around and stuff, which can be a pain in the arse when we want to shuffle over to the sofa and watch TV – but Joost seems to be the answer to all that.

Joost, like you didn't already know, is the new service from the Skype people that lets you watch TV through the internet or something. This is how Joost describes itself:

Joost is a new way of watching TV on the internet. With Joost, you get all the things you love about TV, including a high-quality full-screen picture, hundreds of full-length shows and easy channel-flipping.

All very exciting you'll agree. Joost is beta testing at the moment, and we want in. Trouble is, though, Joost is invite only. And we don't have an invite. You know what's coming, don't you…

If anyone – anyone – has a Joost invite to spare, we'd be most grateful if you'd slip it this way – plus we promise to share the invites we get with other hecklerspray readers. And what can we give you in return? Love. Superficial, insincere love just like your mamma gave. And if you don't have a Joost invite for us, maybe you can send us something else to aid our idealistic sedentary lifestyle. Like a neck pillow or some tubes that stretch from our nethers to the toilet or something.
