Jessica_alba_playboy_cover_1 You may remember that Jessica Alba and Playboy magazine had something of a lover’s tiff last month when Playboy said that Jessica Alba was sexy, but Jessica Alba didn’t want her picture on the cover.

Well, now everything is fine and dandy between Playboy and Jessica Alba once more - Playboy has apologised to Jessica Alba, and Jessica isn’t going to sue the magazine’s rabbit-eared ass to high heaven any more. And what is the reason for the Playboy/Jessica Alba truce? Why, none other than sleazy old man entrepreneur Hugh Hefner, who stepped in to smooth things over.

Jessica Alba has a whole lot going for her. For example, she’s pretty enough to be the voted the most desired girlfriend in the world and she’s modern enough to realise that if she hints at the possibility of casual sex with anyone,
all kinds of hormone-ravaged boys will go and see her films several
times in a row. As for the acting ability of Jessica Alba… well,
look, Jessica Alba is quite pretty, OK?

Jessica Alba is so pretty, in fact, that Playboy Magazine stuck her
on the cover of their March Hollywood’s 25 Sexiest Celebrities edition.
The only problem is that Jessica Alba didn’t give Playboy her
permission first, and threatened to sue the magazine for causing
“immeasurable harm” to her career because it gave the impression that
she was nude inside Playboy. You see, Jessica Alba with her norks out
in a magazine - bad. Jessica Alba making a film dressed in a tiny
bikini with rock-hard nipples throughout - not so bad.

But now the Jessica Alba/Playboy standoff has come to an end. Why? Is it because Jessica Alba’s new monkey lover
told her to calm the hell down? No, it was because Playboy publisher
Hugh Hefner wrote Jessica Alba a lovely letter of apology. And now
Jessica is OK with everything:

“I appreciate Mr. Hefner’s acknowledgement of the distress caused by Playboy’s
actions, and I’m happy to put this unfortunate event behind me. This was never about money, it was about
setting the record straight about something that was done without my
knowledge or consent.”

And if Jessica Alba is happy, then Hugh Hefner and Playboy is happy, according to Playboy spokeswoman Lauren Malone:

“Hef felt bad that Jessica was upset and apologised for unintentionally
hurting her feelings. We’re happy the matter has been amicably
resolved.”

In addition to the letter of apology, Playboy also made donations to two charities Alba supports, Keep A Child Alive and Until There’s A Cure.

So
Jessica Alba is happy and Playboy is happy. But there is one segment of
the population which is not so happy - all the lonely males who thought
that there was finally going to be a naked set of Jessica Alba pictures
that they could spend an afternoon lazily masturbating over. Where’s
our justice? Their. Where’s their justice. Ahem.
