I tried it out tonight because I was at a loose end but actually just stopped it in it’s last 20 minutes in preference to wondering if I’m the only one who thought it was absolute shite and coming online.

No, he came to the end of his contract – 3 films (GE, TND, TWINE) and an option of a 4th (DAD).

Daniel Craig is scared of guns, does this mean he won’t be using one?

For one, he is not “scared of guns” he just doesn’t like them, same as Roger Moore and other action stars who use guns in their films. Apparently James Bond will be packing a Walther PPK or a P99 in the movie. (I am not a gun expert, so I can’t give you any info about the guns)

Can Craig drive stick (manual cars)?

Yes, he holds a full UK Drivers Licence “That story about the stick shift was ludicrous,” adds Barbara Broccoli, who produces the Bond franchise with half brother Michael G. Wilson. “Everybody drives a stick in England. You have to be able to in order to get an unrestricted license over there.”

Did Craig get 2 teeth knocked out in a fight scene?

No, a crown, aka a cap, came loose during the shoot “No, his teeth didn’t get knocked out, What happened was that one of his caps came loose while we were filming in Prague. A local dentist came to the set, put a bit of glue on it, and that was that. The whole thing took 10 minutes.” Martin Campbell

Did Craig get heat-rash?

No, whilst it is true that Daniel Craig did get sun-burnt, it was also true that practically everybody on the shoot got sun-burnt – Craig did not get heat rash and the production wasn’t stopped for any length of time

Is this a prequel?

The film isn’t a prequel in the sense that is set in the time period before Dr. No – It is very much set in the present. The beginning of the film is shows Bond when he has just received Double-0 status, the rest of the film will be Bond’s first mission as a “Double-O Agent”

Is this film Bond Begins?

Batman begins is separate from the Batman series started by Tim Burton – just as this film is looking to be separate than the Bond films before it, a reboot/rehash or whatever you want to call it. Everything else should be completely different than the Batman film.

Is this a remake of the 60s James Bond spoof?

No, the spoof was, very loosely, based on the same source material by Ian Fleming, but this is film is more in-line with the Dr. No/FRWL sort of film and far from spoof.

Why is Dench playing M if this is in Bonds early career?

Because, as stated earlier, this is separate from the past Bonds, so it doesn’t matter if Bond has a female boss – lets just say when Bond met her in this time line – Is different than when we saw Brosnan’s Bond meeting her in GoldenEye.

When is this film set?

The film is set in the present day, early 21st Century. The film is not going back to the 60s.

If this shows one of Bond’s first missions as a 00 agent, then why is Leiter in the film?

Because Bond first met Felix Leiter in Casino Royale, the 1953 book. While it is true that in the film series Bond meets Leiter in Dr. No, in the book series Leiter had already been in several missions with Bond – going as far as loosing an arm and a leg in Live and Let Die (which was seen in the film License to kill)

Are Q or Miss Moneypenny in this film – and if so, whos playing them?

Unfortunately neither Q or Moneypenny are in this film – in the book Moneypenny is only shown very breifly and Q is not mentioned at all, though “Q” Branch is mentioned.

Tarantino was never considered for director, also not being a member of the Directors Guild of America he is unable to work with the big movie companies, including MGM and Sony.

Is it fact or rumour that Samantha Bond will be playing a completely different character in CR?

This is a rumour, so far Samantha Bond has not been announced as having a part in this movie.

Will SPECTRE be in this movie?

SPECTRE wasn’t in the book and wont be in the movie. The Russian organisation in the book was SMERSH – They won’t be in the film either, being a cold war group.

Will a video game version of the film be made?

A videogame was in production, being made by the same makes of Brosnan’s Bond games, EA Games. The Bond was to be in Daniel Craig’s likeness – According to CommanderBond.net the game has been shelved.

Is it true the Bond will be driving the new Aston Martin V8 Vantage, or a DB5 like in the trailer?

Bond will be driving the Aston Martin DB5, but instead of the Aston Martin V8 Vantage he will be driving the new Aston Martin DBS – designed especially for Casino Royale

Oh, expect a co-ordinated whine-and-moan binge from that craigisntbond bunch…that’s all they ever do, not that it will bring back pierce in either his lifetime or theirs.

Craig’s performance appears very wooden and one dimensional.

Craig does not look Bondian in the least. And the Casino Royale script spits all over the once proud history of the Bond franchise.

Pierce Brosnan was the best Bond since Sean Connery, and Brosnan should have been brought back for another Bond film!

And come on – Brosnan was pretty terrible.
