Harry Potter And The Half-Blood Prince – Three Days To Go

Digg this!

Potter_boxset_3Children and creepy adults rejoice! There are only three days to go until you can get your hands on Harry Potter And The Half-Blood Prince.

Unless you’re one of the 14 shoppers that bought a copy of Harry Potter And The Half-Blood Prince at a Real Canadian Superstore near Vancouver, that is.

Publishers of the new Harry Potter book are desperate that there are
no information leaks before the book officially goes on sale. This
could be for one of two reasons…

Firstly, the book could be so mind-blowingly profound that if anyone
reads it before they have been properly prepared, they will have an
instant, fatal aneurysm.

Or secondly, the publishers are worried that people will find out that the book’s a steaming load of rubbish before they’ve sold millions of copies.

Raincoast Books, the Canadian Harry Potter publisher, noticed last
week that the superstore was selling the new Harry Potter book, and
immediately a gagging order was placed. If anyone discloses any new
Harry Potter information before the book is officially published on July 16th,
they’re liable for legal action.

As an incentive to return the books sold at the Real Canadian
Superstore, Raincoast is offering gifts to the 14 customers who bought
copies of the book. That’s right: if they return their – by now
extremely valuable – copies of Harry Potter And The Half-Blood Prince to the superstore, they’ll receive a T-shirt
and
a bookplate. Talk about generosity!

Are you excited about reading Harry Potter And The Half-Blood Prince? Why? Is it because you don’t really have any friends and you like to pretend you’re in a world full of wizards and talking owls? That’s it, isn’t it? Leave your comments below.
