There are 19 days until Harry Potter And The Half-Blood Prince is published. That’s 19 days until millions of children and under-developed adults can rush out to bookshops and find out if Harry’s got a new badge for his blazer, or something.
Just kidding, although people are getting worked up into a frenzy by the new book. Amazon claim that they have more than one million pre-orders of Harry Potter And The Half-Blood Prince.
Harry Potter’s exploits have sold more copies than any other book, after the Bible and the thoughts of Chairman Mao. Harry Potter And The Order Of The Phoenix made J.K Rowling an estimated £30 million. She’s holding a special Willy Wonka-esque
reading and press conference especially for children the minute the
book goes on sale. The event will be globally broadcast. But why all
the fuss?
There are all kinds of rumours floating round about the new book. hecklerspray will now list some of these rumours and give a Truth Score – a high score means the rumour is more likely to be true.
Bear in mind though, we’ve only read the first chapter of the second
book and – although we’ve seen all the movies – we’ve fallen asleep
through ever single one of them. So we’re not really experts.
Rumour 1 – Harry and Malfoy will team up. Malfoy’s the boy that looks like Zak Morris from Saved By The Bell. They’ll probably team up. And kill someone bad. An anagram of ‘Malfoy’ is ‘My Loaf’. Maybe they’ll kill a big bread monster. Truth Score – 8.

Rumour 3 – Hedwig turns evil. Hedwig’s the owl, right? Owls
don’t need to turn evil, they’re evil already. All that turning their
heads round and pooing mouse bones and stuff freaks us out, frankly.

Rumour 4 – Ron and Hermione will become a couple. Not a chance. Ron is ginger. Ginger people are ridiculous. Truth Score – 2.
Rumour 5 – J.K Rowling will become so rich from this book that
she’ll build a million metre-tall solid gold statue of herself that
rotates so that it always faces the sun. Truth Score – 10.

I feel strange – cause actually I AM READING the sixth volume right now!!! I was lookingin the internet for some artwork and i found such a document as “harry potter and the half-blood prince”. I wasn’t aware that the book is about to appear in stores in only few day and i didn’t know its title so i thought it was a spoiler or a fanfiction. After dowloading it, it appeared to be a complete novel (who would write a 500p. fanfiction), matching the continuation of Harry Potter’s adventures. The document was created in december 2004. However, i don’t think it is a stolen copy – it is rather a rejected copy, or sthing like a very celever fanfiction. When reading it, there is a lot of moments when you feel like you’ve missed sthing in the past few volumes or even like you missed a whole chapter cause many things are unexplained or seems incoherent. I don’t wanna spoil anything so i won’t tell exactly what seems strange. Maybe it is one of the first try JKR sent to her publisher or something. Does anyone happenned to find himself in this same situation?

i think that people took the short by Mr. Heritage a bit too seriously, i am sure it was a huge joke, although being a H.P. fan i was a bit offended to begin with, but i later saw the funny side of it, i can not wait for the Half Blood Prince to be out, i do not think, but i know Joanne Kathleen Rowling is a spellbounding writer!!! lol.
hi .well,i think luna and harry will become a pair because in the last chapter of oder of pheonix harry said that he didnt feel awkward in talking to luna about sirius. he also said that he felt sorry for her when she told him about losing her things.i also think dumbledore will die and it will be easy for voldemort to kill people.and i DON’T THINK VOLDEMORT IS NOT HARRY’S DAD.

Now before I write anything, I have to say I really do enjoy reading all the articles about the new Harry Potter book by J.K. Rowling. It’s funny how people get so mad about the ridiculous ideas that some people can actually think up.
I just definitely have to say NO COMMENT on what people say about Voldemort being Harry’s dad. NO COMMENT.
Hello. ok well- Luna and Harry! nooo! no way. Ok maybe friends but not a item because Harry only felt sorry for her and pitted her, and does not find Luna attractive. And Ginny and Harry? NO Hermione said Ginny was over Harry, and Hermione DOES NOT fancie Ron! Ron likes her yes but if anything it is clair to see Hermione likes Harry, from reading Order. Like why would a best friend fish for compliments? she was trina get Harry to say no i think ur pretty not ur not ugly, but notice it says ‘but i dont think your ugly’ said harry BEMUSED! meaning mystefied, lost in thought etc etc, he was baffeled and lost in thought at the thought of Hermione not being ugly. He thinks shes pretty, coz in goblet of fire his jaw droped when he realized the pretty girl with Krum was Hermione. And they are always like working in tadem and a lot of the time without Ron. it dont make sence to pair the herione up with the sidkick who is always off playing quittch and seems a bit passive in this book. (order of the phonix) And at Grimauld place, Harry and Hermione hugged for THIRTY SECONDS.a bit long i rekon.And hermione kept tabs on Cho and knew everything that was going on in her life. and Hermione talks BRIGHTLY when Cho turned her back coldt from Harry thats obvoius that Cho and Harry fell out and Hermione knows it, but shes certianly happy and bright about it. So there u have it, HAry and hermione are destined to be wif eachother. You will see. Mark my words. Ginger dont get girl!!! We think that Peter Pedigrew is going to die saving Harry’s life because Dumbledore said, that HArry and the rat guy have a special bond because HArry saved Peters life, and now Peter is in debt to Harry and one day he will save HArrys life when Voldemort is trying to kill Harry. also another reason is because harrys dad and sirius died saving harry’s life, therefore i think that lupin is going to die saving harry’s life, and that peter is going to kill lupin since he has a silver hand and silver kills werewolves, but then when Voldemort is going to try killing harry, peter will kill him self, so all of harry’s dads friends will die killing harry.
