Gwyneth Pokes Her Nose Into Brad’s Affairs

Digg this!

Split_orangeThere’s nothing worse than someone saying "I told you so". Especially when they didn’t tell anyone so in the first place.

When it comes to being dumped by Brad Pitt, Gwyneth Paltrow is a veteran. She and Brad were engaged last decade, but it all ended badly. So you’d have thought that Gwyneth would have understood exactly what Jennifer Aniston is going through at the moment – maybe even offered her services as a shoulder to cry on.

Well, that’s not exactly what she’s gone and done.

We all know the story by now; Brad Pitt splits up with Gwyneth Paltrow and quickly shacks up with Jennifer Aniston. They have a few years of happy marriage before Brad dumps Jennifer and is seen all over the place with Angelina Jolie and her amazing array of off-the-shelf orphans.

Instead of acting sympathetically towards the divorcing couple, Paltrow instead
suggested that Pitt and Aniston should have just shut up
about being happy together
in the first place. She told Time magazine that "It would be a lot easier on Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston now had they not talked to the press about each other and everything
to begin with."

Blabbing about personal events isn’t Gwyneth’s style, you see. "I learned my lesson at 24," she told magazine. Maybe she’s forgetting that three years after her split with Brad, she was still carping on about how her "heart sort of broke that day and it will never be the same".

Now, though, Gwyneth’s happily married to Chris Martin – the whiny Coldplay fop – and everything they do is deliberately shrouded in secrecy. "Our marriage is between us. If we decide to continue being together or not, it’s our business," she said.

Similarly, fame doesn’t hold so much value with Gwyneth any more. "Everything I wanted to achieve, I achieved, I’m not one of those people who keeps raising the bar. Am I supposed
to say I’m going to become the biggest movie star that ever lived? I
don’t want to."

You have to hand it to Gwyneth. When most people want to be private, they don’t scream it from the pages of an internationally-read magazine.
