Gwen Stefani Has A Baby Too

At the moment, everyone is all like "Shiloh Nouvel Shiloh Nouvel Shiloh Nouvel," but, if they want to be fair, they should be complementing that with "Kingston James McGregor Rossdale Kingston James McGregor Rossdale Kingston James McGregor Rossdale."

Why? Why should we be trying to spit out that ridiculously long name? Because Gwen Stefani of No Doubt and Gwen Stefani fame has just had a baby too. And it's a boy, called - duh - Kingston James McGregor Rossdale, which is almost a normal name for a celebrity baby. We can't help feeling a bit disappointed, though - in the Gwen Stefani baby office sweepstakes, we'd picked the name Kazumi Godzilla Banana Swallowed Rossdale. Oh well, better luck next time.

What's going on these days? Celebrity mums have been pumping out babies at an almost industrial velocity over the last few months. There's been Suri, Grier, Moses, Bluebell Madonna and Shiloh Nouvel and now Gwen Stefani and Gavin Rossdale from rubbish 1990s grunge-lite band Bush have helped bring a baby boy named Kingston James McGregor Rossdale into the world.

Sadly, all the baby photographers and journalists were busy scampering around Namibia trying to get a photo of Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie's baby, so Gwen Stefani's birth went quietly unannounced. All there is as proof of the baby's birth is a statement reading:

"Both mother and child are doing well."

From that we can ascertain that Gavin Rossdale isn't doing very well, maybe because young Kingston James McGregor Rossdale has already been played one of Daddy's Bush album and declared that it was nothing more than an inferior derivative of more pioneering bands such as Nirvana or The Pixies. But who knows?

Other details are scant - we know that Kingston James McGregor Rossdale was born in the Cedars-Sinai Medical Centre in Los Angeles on Friday night, and weighed 7.5lbs. Do we know anything else about Gwen Stefani's baby? Not really, apart from that it's probably quite small and cries a bit. It's a baby for god's sake, what were you expecting?
