Madonna, currently possessing a butt that just won’t quit, has finally caught onto Gwen Stefani’s little game; imitate, don’t innovate.
Now 47 and loving it, slinky-haired, non-Nazi Madonna is not about to admit her eyesight is failing, even if she is still happily married to Guy Ritchie. Madonna said:
"(Gwen) ripped me off. We work with a lot of the same people. She married a Brit, she’s got blonde hair and she likes fashion."
This is difficult for us, as Gwen Stefani (CDs) is pretty much to music what mustard is to cornflakes, but Madonna (CDs) is not exactly top of our birthday honours list ether.
We’ll just sit on the fence instead.
"I don’t mind. I think she’s very sweet and talented."
Most generous of Madge, that. Gwen Stefani rightly deserves nothing more than a good slap and to be forced to wear a different shade of lipstick. Pharrell does not help matters much either.

I love Gwen she’s great! Madonna has just gotten old and her music hasn’t gone anywhere for a while. Maybe its that change from Christian to Jew thing.

i dissagree, her music has gone everywhere! expect the unexpected from madonna. and thats why mostly alot of people didnt like her recent american life album. they were all used to repetitive music in the industry, hence gwen. american life is one of madonna’s greatest albums in my opinnion, its so personal and intence. she brings us into her life, she sings about it. that album had a huge statement, and i’m glad she made it!

I dont think madonna has gone old, i still feel she looks sexy and cool, and her music is still hot
i do feel Gwen has taken the look of madonna when she was doing the Blonde ambition tour, but she has added her own look by taking images from the 50’s too.
i feel both ladys look hot and sexy
i love both of the music, i wish they could both write a song together - it would be great

Gwen is great, but Madonna is better. Everyone has been saying that Gwen has copied Madonna’s look since Don’t Speak video. Where she sort of looks like Madonna from the Live to Tell Video.
The one thing I don’t like about Gwen is that she is trying to please everyone with her album. Her new song samples a B.I.G song that has been sample to death!!!

Whoa…..Gwen copies Madonna??? How about Madonna has built her career on copying others, and claiming it for her own? Examples would include the Marilyn look, the play on Hinduism (done by Stefani first), the look of androgany like Marlena Dietrich did in Blue Angel…there are countless other ways. Chances are that the reason everyone likes Hung Up is because it’s basically Gimme Gimme Gimme with her singing over it…not something she created on her own. Everyone samples from other songs these days. People, you are giving her way too much credit for ideas that aren’t always her own.

Madonna is Madonna and Gwen is Gwen.
Gwen is sweet and talented. Madonna is nasty and talented.They are very different people.
What has inspire GWEN IS WHERE SHE LIVES AND THE SPIRIT OF ORANGE COUNTY.Madonna may have inspired her to an extent but ,Gwen is Gwen!

Sounds like an old woman cant except that she is old… i think shes gross…gwen can come out with some annoying songs… but they dont sound or feel like madonnas music… why are we even talkin bout this… go plant a tree… take your dog for a walk… get away from this media hypnosis

Madonna, with all of your Kaballah training you sound like you have learned nothing. I dont know if you did or did not state that Gwen Stefani copied you or not - but it sounds catty and ugly. These are not the kind of words I expect from a Madonna with spiritual training. I guess Madonna is worried about competition. Too bad. I dont think she should.

I agree with Josh. Madonna and Gwen Stefani are what a famous person should represent–and that’s being a “character”. Gwen Stefani has been a punk chick, a vogue girl, Alice in Wonderland, a pirate…and Madonna’s been…well everything but fat and ugly! Another great ingredient to being someone famous is not letting anyone into their private lives. Over the years, it seems that the more you give away, the less people expect from you–you become “everyone else” and not an idol/god/icon.
Both Gwen and Madonna rule in fashion, TRUE music, and beauty. They are both great performers and great ARTISTS. And Josh, yeah…they should write a song together. The only mistake I think Madonna’s done is take that horrible-looking witch Britney Spears under her wing. She should’ve taken Gwen Stefani!
